I am struggling right now to blog. I feel as if each post is forced. I have no real "moments" to share. And nothing remotely profound has found its way to this page as of late.

But my-just-back-from-Hawaii-friend, Jen, said she hearts my blog.

And she gave me fodder for this icky Monday morning. (Did I mention I got three hours of sleep so I could be at work at 3 a.m.? Ah, yeah, I love my life.)

So here I am. Saying a huge "thanks" to Jen. Mahalo.

Plus the widget is cute.

Because I now have 31 reasons to blog. I needed to actually think about some of these because the answers needed to be a single word.

1. Where is your cell phone? desk
2. Where is your significant other? sleeping
3. Your hair color? black
4. Your mother? survivor
5. Your father? hardworking
6. Your favorite thing? Amara!
7. Your dream last night? none
8. Your dream/goal? bill-free (ok so cheated on that one)
9. The room you’re in? newsroom
10. Your hobby? none
11. Your fear? death
12. Where do you want to be in six years? home
13. Where were you last night? home
14. What you’re not? patient
15. One of your wish list items? Flip
16. Where you grew up? Cleveland
17. The last thing you did? coffee
18. What are you wearing? hoodie
19. Your T.V.? loud
20. Your pet? dog
21. Your computer? HP
22. Your mood? cranky
23. Missing someone? yes
24. Your car? Mom-mobile
25. Something you’re not wearing? secret
26. Favorite store? Target
27. Your Summer? uneventful
28. Love someone? absolutely
29. Your favorite color? red
30. When is the last time you laughed? now
31. Last time you cried? Saturday

Phew. That was rough. I don't think I have ever said so much in so little!

  1. Keeping things to one word was hard for me too...

You need a visit to the islands. Cures everything...until you have to come home :)

  2. It made me happy to see the word "Mahalo" on your blog today. We just made it out to Hawaii in October for the 2nd time this year, my husband gets to go for 2-week shifts for work. It really is a neat place, and it seems to me you'd like Oahu, they have Nordstroms...and Fendi, Cartier, Tiffany's, Hermes, two Coach stores, Louis Vuitton, etc. It's live 5th Ave. only sunnier and with beaches! If you ever go, let me know and I can give you tips on where to go.
