Crooked Halo

In true holiday spirit, Amara's Sunday school hosted its annual Christmas play.

Imagine my surprise when they announced Amara would be an angel. How ironic. My child, an angel?

But, what is that? Hmmmm...

Notice the crooked halo on Amara.

It's like a sign from God!

But soon she took off the wings and tinsel so she could sing "happy birthday" to Jesus.

So Grandma and Grandpa2Amara, Lola and Lolo2Amara, Dad2Amara and I headed to the school gymnasium for some cake and goodies.

Even though Christmas is just a few days away, it was nice to spend the day with the entire family.

I'm not sure how much I'll be around this week. But I do hope everyone has a stress-free last few days before Christmas!

  5. She makes a great angel! I think there's an old story about a little angel with a crooked halo, who ended up giving the best present to the newborn Jesus. It was a box of little kid treasures, and God turned it into the North Star! ;)
