The photo on the left was taken a year ago this week.
Stacy and Clinton should have come after me. That sleeveless campshirt does not look attractive on me. And I think I lived in those capris because nothing else fit my large body.
2011 was the year I was going to make changes. Number 1 on my list: to drop four points on the BMI scale. I no longer wanted to be "obese."
So I consulted a dietitian. Sought the help of a personal trainer. It's been a long, slow road. And the journey is not yet complete.
But you're looking at a new me: 29 pounds lighter, four dress sizes smaller (on a good day), and 5.1 points down on the BMI scale. And for the record, those capris? Yea, can no longer wear them, they literally fall off of me.
I know I have a long way before I hit thin.
But I'm proud of the one resolution I've kept. How are your New Year resolutions going?
