How do Asians name their kids?

Ever hear that joke?

I didn't until this week.

How do the Chinese name their children? By dropping chopsticks down the stairs. Ching, chong.

OK, I admit, it got a chuckle out of me until my cousin, Mariel, was nice enough to bring this to my attention.

Now, I am not a Rosie O'Donnell fan. Never have been.

But when Rosie barked at Kelly Ripa for scolding American Idol's in-the-closet pretty boy for putting his hand over Kelly's mouth (Rosie saw it as a homophobic gesture), I wondered to myself -- how blinded can one person be by their beliefs? Rosie taking Kelly's comments and turning them into an anti-gay thing would be like me saying that everything that happens in the world always comes down to being for or against Asians.

But today, that's exactly what it's about.

Rosie decided to go on The View a few days ago and say this:

'The fact is that it's news all over the world. That you know, you can imagine in China it's like: 'Ching chong. Danny DeVito, ching chong, chong, chong, chong. Drunk. The View. Ching chong.'
Are you freaking kidding me?

And I think the fact that Rosie sees nothing wrong with what she said proves that her agenda is just that...solely hers. She doesn't care about championing human rights. All she cares about is herself. Plus it shows she's ignorant.

I would never be able to get away with saying some anti-gay remark on national TV. So why should Rosie get away with what she said on The View?
