the power of blogging

Anytime I have a free moment to myself, I like to steal away for some time in the blogosphere.

I've had the good fortune to meet many of the bloggers I read.

But it's funny how some of my pre-blogosphere friends now take the time to blog themselves.

And even though I may talk to these friends regularly, I'm amazed by how much can come out of their posts.

I read a post today about my friend's father who is dying of cancer. I cried.

Yet I get to see other bloggers' children grow even if I've never met them in person. And it warms my heart.

And even though I snapped at him this morning, I still check out his blog to see what else is shaking in his world.

In return, I get to share with all of you my pride and joy and the inner workings of her life.

That's pretty cool.

  1. I know, thats what I love about blogs. They really do seem to make the world smaller and friendlier, don't they? You just get to learn little things about people's lives that you would not ordinarily know, and you feel like you have friends all over the country!
